I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix 5 j. ]: Y3 y) N0 ^2 M! P4 X4 N. m' R, K$ t6 S1 U2 N" p. @$ f
